ESC Overview:
The Traxxas Velineon® VXL-4S Waterproof Brushless ESC is designed for high-output 2-4S LiPo power while maintaining dependable control in all conditions. Its rugged construction, waterproof design, and integrated protection circuits support demanding off-road use in both the Raptor-R and the Jato. Real-time telemetry through Traxxas Link™ (TRA6511 – sold separately) provides live data, and an LED status system keeps operation clear and intuitive. A large heatsink supports an optional cooling fan for enhanced thermal management.

Control & Configuration
Driving flexibility comes from three selectable profiles: Sport for full forward/brake/reverse control, Race for streamlined forward/brake response, and Training Mode™ for reduced-power operation. Setup is handled through the Traxxas EZ-Set® one-button system, while a selectable 7.4V high-voltage BEC and 12-gauge wiring support consistent performance across different vehicle setups. The ESC integrates safety and convenience features without requiring complex adjustments.
