About the Nazgul Evoque F7 O4 6S HD

The Nazgul Evoque F7 O4 6S HD is a premium 7.5-inch long-range FPV drone designed for cinematic cruising, mountain flying, high-capacity battery setups, and DJI O4 Air Unit Pro image quality.

It combines the Evoque series design language with a large DeadCat frame, XING2 2809 1250KV motors, Borg Mini F7 Flight Controller, Borg 60R ESC, DJI O4 Air Unit Pro, pre-installed GPS, dynamic LED effects, and long-range receiver options.

This drone is built for experienced pilots who want a powerful long-range platform with strong 6S performance, clean HD footage, improved protection, and a more advanced feature set than typical open-frame long-range builds.

It is not intended as a beginner freestyle quad.

Premium 7.5-Inch Evoque Long-Range Platform
The Nazgul Evoque F7 is the long-range member of the Evoque series, designed for efficient cruising, cinematic flying, and high-capacity battery setups.

Its large 7.5-inch propeller platform allows it to carry bigger batteries than typical 5-inch freestyle drones, making it suitable for endurance-oriented flights, mountain cruising, and cinematic FPV routes.

DeadCat Geometry for Cleaner Footage
The DeadCat frame geometry helps reduce propellers in the camera view, making the Evoque F7 better suited for cinematic FPV footage and clean DJI O4 onboard recording.

This layout is designed for long-range cruising and smooth flight lines rather than compact racing or aggressive 5-inch freestyle flying.

Dual Official Tuning Presets
The Nazgul Evoque F7 includes two official tuning presets for different flying styles.

The Long-Range preset is intended for smooth and efficient cruising. 
The Freestyle preset offers a more responsive feel when you want a more dynamic flying style.

The presets can be selected in the PID Tuning tab of Betaflight Configurator. Always make a backup before changing settings.

Dualband Dual-Antenna Receiver Option
The iFlight ELRS Dualband Diversity receiver option supports both 2.4GHz and 868/900MHz ELRS operation in one receiver system.

This option is designed for pilots who want a flexible long-range control link with dualband capability and dual-antenna reception.

Important: Your radio system, ELRS firmware, region settings, and configuration must match the receiver setup. Please check compatibility before ordering.

Upgraded Borg Stack
The upgraded Borg Stack combines the Borg Mini F7 Flight Controller with the Borg 60R ESC. It features an integrated Anti-Spark Filter, dual independent BEC power supply, VTX power switching, and a built-in polymer capacitor for improved electrical stability.

The 12V 2A BEC with VTX switch and 5V 25A BEC help provide stable power for the FPV system and onboard electronics.

Fin-Shaped Cooling Channel
The Evoque F7 uses a fin-shaped cooling channel to improve airflow and heat dissipation during long-range flights. Better cooling helps keep the electronics in a safer operating range during longer sessions, warm weather, and high-load operation.

Dynamic LED Effects
The Evoque F7 includes dynamic LED effects for better visibility and a recognizable Evoque appearance. LED effects can improve orientation and make the drone easier to identify visually, especially during setup, landing, and close-range operation.

DJI O4 Air Unit Pro – HD Recording and Digital FPV
The DJI O4 Air Unit Pro provides high-quality digital FPV video and onboard recording for cinematic long-range flying.

With its 1/1.3-inch image sensor, 155° ultra-wide field of view, D-Log M support, RockSteady 3.0+ stabilization, 1080p/100fps live view, and high-bitrate onboard recording, the O4 Air Unit Pro is well suited for detailed FPV footage in demanding environments.

Pre-Installed GPS
The Nazgul Evoque F7 is equipped with pre-installed GPS which can support coordinates, telemetry, flight logging, and Betaflight GPS Rescue after correct configuration and testing by the pilot.

Important: GPS Rescue is not enabled by default and must not be treated as a guaranteed return-to-home function. It must be configured, checked, and tested carefully before use.

BNF Drone Setup

The drone inside this ReadyFly Combo is a BNF drone, which means Bind-and-Fly.

It is assembled, factory configured, and tested before shipment. However, BNF does not mean Ready-to-Fly. The drone still needs to be bound to a compatible radio controller before the first flight.

Before the first flight, check all screws, motor direction, propeller orientation, failsafe behavior, GPS status, video link, OSD, Betaflight modes, receiver setup, and voltage warning settings.

ReadyFly Combo vs BNF Drone Only

Choose the ReadyFly Combo if you want to select multiple compatible products together, such as DJI O4 goggles, radio controller, batteries, charger, and accessories.

Choose the BNF drone only if you already have compatible DJI O4 FPV equipment, a matching radio system, suitable batteries, charger, and tools.

This ReadyFly Combo is especially useful because it helps reduce missing parts, wrong controller choices, wrong battery choices, charger compatibility issues, and missing long-range accessories.

The DJI O4 Air Unit Pro is responsible for video transmission. The selected receiver/control version determines how the drone receives control commands from your radio controller.

DJI Controller Version
Choose the DJI Controller version if you want to control the drone with DJI FPV Remote Controller 2 or DJI FPV Remote Controller 3.

This version is configured for DJI SBUS control. The DJI Controller version does not have additional receiver antennas because the control signal is transmitted through the DJI O4 Air Unit Pro system and its O4 antennas.

Important: The DJI Controller version is intended for DJI remote control use. If you want to use ELRS or TBS Crossfire later, a separate receiver must be installed and configured correctly. This may require wiring changes, disconnecting DJI SBUS, or using another UART.

TBS Crossfire Diversity NANO RX Version
Choose this version if you use a TBS Crossfire radio system or a compatible Crossfire module.

This version uses a Crossfire Diversity receiver with two receiver antennas.

iFlight ELRS Dualband Diversity RX Version
Choose this version if you use a compatible ELRS radio system and want one receiver that supports both 2.4GHz and 868/900MHz operation.

This is a dualband diversity receiver. It is compatible with both ELRS frequency ranges when configured correctly and uses two receiver antennas.

Important: Your radio, ELRS firmware, region settings, and configuration must match the receiver setup. Please check compatibility before ordering.

Receiver Antenna Note

Both the TBS Crossfire Diversity and iFlight ELRS Dualband Diversity receiver versions use two receiver antennas.

The DJI Controller version does not have separate receiver antennas because control is handled through the DJI O4 Air Unit Pro antennas.

DJI FPV Remote Controller 3 is compatible when using the DJI Controller version.

DJI FPV Remote Controller 2 is compatible when using the DJI Controller version.

Other radio controllers can be used only if they match the installed receiver version, for example ELRS or Crossfire.

Important: Goggles handle the video link. The radio controller or receiver handles control input. These are separate systems and must both be compatible.

GPS

GPS is pre-installed on this product.

GPS can support coordinates, telemetry, flight logging, and Betaflight GPS Rescue after correct configuration and testing by the pilot.

Important: GPS Rescue is not enabled by default and must not be treated as a guaranteed return-to-home function. It must be configured, checked, and tested carefully before use.

Battery Recommendations

This drone is designed for 6S batteries and long-range battery setups.

Standard LiPo Recommendation

6S 3300–3500mAh LiPo

This is the recommended starting range for a balanced mix of throttle response, manageable weight, stable handling, and practical flight time.

Larger LiPo Options

6S 4000–8000mAh LiPo can be used depending on the desired flight time and use case.

Larger LiPo batteries increase takeoff weight and reduce agility.

Li-Ion / Endurance Cruising

6S1P 5000mAh Li-Ion is the bare minimum Li-Ion option for this platform. It can be used for very smooth cruising only and can only be mounted with the rear battery strap due to its shorter pack size.

For 7-inch and 7.5-inch long-range platforms, we recommend 6S2P Li-Ion batteries for better throttle response and reduced voltage sag.

6S2P 8000mAh Li-Ion for long-range endurance cruising

6S2P 10000mAh Li-Ion for maximum range and maximum endurance setups

Important Li-Ion Note

Compared with 5-inch platforms, 7-inch and 7.5-inch drones draw more power and place higher load on the battery during climbs, wind correction, heavier payloads, and long-distance flights.

A 6S1P Li-Ion pack can experience more voltage sag and weaker throttle response on this size of drone. For this reason, 6S2P Li-Ion packs are strongly recommended when using Li-Ion on the Nazgul Evoque F7.

Li-Ion batteries are suitable for smooth cruising and endurance-oriented flying.

They are not suitable for aggressive freestyle, racing, repeated hard punch-outs, or high-current flying.

Li-Ion batteries behave differently from LiPo batteries and may require adjusted Betaflight voltage warnings.

Always configure warning and landing voltages according to the battery chemistry and pack used.

Important Long-Range Battery Note

Large batteries can strongly change the handling of the drone.

A heavier battery may increase cruising time but reduce agility, increase braking distance, increase motor load, and require more careful flight planning.

Always keep sufficient battery reserve for return flight, wind, altitude changes, and unexpected route changes.

Charger Recommendations

Choose a charger that supports 6S LiPo and Li-Ion batteries with balance charging.

For one or two batteries, a dual-channel charger can be practical.

For compact travel setups, a USB-C PD charger may be suitable, depending on charging power and battery size.

Always use the correct battery type, cell count, charge current, and balance mode when charging.

Action Camera Support

The Nazgul Evoque F7 can carry a GoPro or similar action camera when a compatible mount is used.

Adding an action camera increases takeoff weight, changes flight behavior, increases current draw, and usually reduces flight time.

For many long-range flights, the DJI O4 Air Unit Pro onboard recording may already be sufficient, reducing the need for an additional action camera.
