Every upgrade of the Nazgul Evoque F5 V3 is designed to improve performance, durability, video quality, and versatility. With its switchable DeadCat / True X frame geometry, DJI O4 Air Unit Pro, upgraded Borg Mini stack with integrated anti-spark filter, refined cooling design, injection-molded protective parts, pre-installed GPS, and signature Evoque styling, the Evoque F5 V3 is built for pilots who want one powerful 5-inch platform for cinematic flying, freestyle, cruising, and action-camera use.
At the heart of the design is the flexible DC / X frame system. Use the DeadCat geometry for cleaner cinematic footage with reduced propeller view, or switch to True X geometry for a more symmetrical freestyle feel and dynamic handling.

This product is supplied by iFlight Europe / Patrionic GmbH as a C4 Class UAS certified configuration, covered by an EU-Type Examination Certificate for the Nazgul Evoque F5 V3.

DC / X Dual Geometry Flexible Switching
The switchable DeadCat / True X frame design gives the Evoque F5 V3 excellent flexibility for different flying styles.
DeadCat geometry is ideal for cinematic footage with reduced propeller view, while True X geometry gives a more balanced and symmetrical feel for freestyle flying. This allows the same drone to adapt to cinematic flights, cruising, freestyle manoeuvres, and action-camera use.
Borg Mini Stack – Improved Safety and Stability
The upgraded Borg Mini Stack combines the Borg Mini F7 flight controller with the Borg Mini 60A ESC for strong and reliable 6S performance.
An integrated anti-spark filter helps reduce connector stress when plugging in the battery, while the dual independent BEC power supply and built-in polymer capacitor improve electrical stability and help protect sensitive electronics from voltage spikes.
With up to 65A burst current capability, the stack is designed for demanding FPV flights while keeping the build compact, clean, and reliable.
Front-Mounted DJI O4 Air Unit Pro Design
The upgraded front-mounted DJI O4 Air Unit Pro layout helps reduce interference and keeps the internal wiring cleaner and easier to maintain.
The improved assembly process reduces cable clutter and lowers the risk of issues caused by loose or tangled wiring.
Performance-Focused Cooling Design
The refined Evoque shell design includes a fin-shaped cooling channel to improve airflow and heat dissipation.
Better cooling helps the electronics stay within a safer operating range during demanding flights, longer sessions, and warm-weather operation.
Refined Injection-Molded Construction
The Evoque F5 V3 upgrades many protective parts from traditional TPU-printed components to refined injection-molded parts.
This improves consistency, finish, material quality, and durability while giving the drone a cleaner premium appearance.
DJI O4 Air Unit Pro – Flagship HD Recording
Equipped with the DJI O4 Air Unit Pro, the Evoque F5 V3 delivers premium digital FPV video and onboard recording capability.
The 1/1.3-inch image sensor provides excellent image quality, including improved performance in low-light conditions. With 4K onboard recording, ultra-wide 155° field of view, D-Log M support, and RockSteady 3.0+ stabilization, the O4 Air Unit Pro makes it possible to capture high-speed, low-altitude FPV footage with strong detail and immersive visual impact.
Pre-Installed BLITZ Mini M10 GPS V2
The Nazgul Evoque F5 V3 GPS version comes with a BLITZ Mini M10 GPS V2 pre-installed.
GPS can support positioning, telemetry, and Betaflight GPS Rescue when correctly configured and tested by the pilot. GPS Rescue is not enabled by default and should not be treated as a replacement for safe piloting, a strong radio link, and proper failsafe setup.
BNF Factory Setup
This drone is delivered as a BNF, which means Bind-and-Fly.
It comes assembled and factory configured with a Betaflight preset already installed. No firmware update, reset, or Betaflight changes are required before the first flight.
The drone still needs to be bound to a compatible radio controller before flying. Angle Mode is enabled by default to make first flights safer and reduce the risk of accidents during initial setup.
ReadyFly Kits – Complete FPV Sets Available
This product is sold as a BNF drone.
BNF means Bind-and-Fly: the drone is assembled, tuned, and equipped with the selected receiver/video system, but it must still be bound to a compatible radio controller before flying.
If you need a complete FPV setup, we also offer ReadyFly kits in our shop. Our ReadyFly kits allow you to mix and match compatible components such as goggles, radio controller, batteries, charger, and accessories.
Choose this BNF drone if you already have compatible equipment.
Choose a ReadyFly kit if you want a more complete FPV setup with the main components selected together.

The DJI O4 Air Unit Pro handles the video link. The selected receiver/control version determines how the drone receives radio-control input.
DJI Controller Version
Choose the DJI version if you want to control the drone with DJI FPV Remote Controller 2 or DJI FPV Remote Controller 3.
This version is configured for DJI SBUS control. Additional SBUS and GND wires are connected to the flight controller for DJI remote-control input.
Important: The DJI Controller version is intended for DJI remote control use. To use ELRS or TBS Crossfire instead, a separate receiver must be installed and correctly configured. This may require disconnecting the DJI SBUS wiring or using another UART for receiver input.
ELRS 2.4GHz Version
Choose this version if you use an ELRS 2.4GHz radio, such as an iFlight Commando 8 or Commando 14 ELRS 2.4GHz.
ELRS 868/915MHz Version
Choose this version only if your radio or module supports ELRS 868/915MHz.
ELRS 2.4GHz and ELRS 868/915MHz are not compatible with each other.
TBS Crossfire Version
Choose this version if you use a TBS Crossfire radio or module.

Battery Recommendations
This drone is designed for 6S batteries.
Most pilots use batteries between 1380mAh and 2400mAh.
Freestyle / responsive flying:
- 6S 1380–1550mAh high-discharge LiPo
- Cinematic / GoPro flying:
- 6S 1550–1850mAh high-discharge LiPo
Longer cruising:
- 6S 1850–2400mAh high-discharge LiPo
Maximum endurance / smooth cruising only:
- DOGCOM 6S1P 4000mAh Li-Ion
- DOGCOM 6S1P 5000mAh Li-Ion
Important Li-Ion note:
Li-Ion batteries are only recommended for smooth cruising and endurance-focused flying. They are not suitable for aggressive freestyle, racing, repeated punch-outs, or high-current flying.
Li-Ion batteries behave differently from LiPo batteries and may require adjusted Betaflight voltage warnings.
Action Camera Support
The Nazgul Evoque F5 V3 has a front mounting position for a GoPro or similar action camera when used with a compatible mount.
Adding an action camera increases takeoff weight, changes handling, increases current draw, and usually reduces flight time.
