The Fine Laser Designs Losi Promoto Aluminum Clipless Battery Bay Latch System is an optional upgrade for the Losi Promoto-MX or SM 1/4 Dirt Bike platforms, offering a stronger and fully aluminum alternative to the stock latch setup. This V3 version keeps the same functional layout as the previous design while upgrading all major components with 6061 machined aluminum for improved durability and a precise, secure fit.
About the Clipless Battery Bay Latch System
Refined Clipless Convenience
This latch system bolts directly onto the Promoto with zero modification required and replaces the traditional body clip system with a rotating lock that secures the battery bay cleanly and reliably. To lock the bay, simply lift the rear of the battery tray upward and rotate the latch into position. To unlock, press the rear center of the tray upward to relieve pressure and rotate the latch open. The aluminum outer body and center piece provide long-lasting strength, smoother operation, and a more premium feel while maintaining easy, tool-free access to the battery compartment.
